Install the Bookmarklet

Drag the button below to your browser's Bookmarks Bar. If the bar is hidden, press Cmd+Shift+B (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+B (Windows).

Open a Convention Document

Navigate to any convention link in your browser (Annotation API, SharePoint, WorkDocs). Make sure the page is fully loaded and you are authenticated via Midway.

Click the Bookmarklet

Click "Cache to ConSearch" in your Bookmarks Bar. An overlay will confirm the document was cached. It auto-dismisses after 3 seconds.

Search in ConSearch

Go to the Search page, paste the convention link, and ask your question. ConSearch will use the cached content — no more paste prompts!

How it works

  • The bookmarklet extracts the page text and sends it to the ConSearch API
  • Content is stored by URL — caching the same link again updates it
  • Cached docs are available to all ConSearch users
  • No browser extension needed — works in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari
